Thanks for checking out the site.  For those who are interested in who I am I just thought I’d share my story quickly…

My name is Ron Palmer and I am a Certified Public Accountant with a private practice in Malibu, California.

For nearly 40 years I have been helping people in the entertainment industry, business owners, start-ups and entrepreneurs increase their profitability and reduce their tax burden.

Over the years I have met numerous people who were not my clients and who had not taken advantage of the many tax strategies available to them.

When I ask why they have not, they tell me they did not know about them or their CPA or tax preparer had never told them about these strategies.

I realized I did not have the hours in a day to work individually with all of these people and help them sort through and implement the appropriate tax strategies.

That was my impetus to learn about the internet. To not only educate people about these tax and money saving strategies, but to help them implement them.

To do this I wanted to give them all of the checklists, instructions and documents they needed to implement these tax saving strategies on their own.

Alternatively, they could simply take the checklists, instructions and documents to their professional tax advisor or attorney to assist with the implementation.

But I digress. My bonus package tells you more about this.

So why did I make a site about The League Of Extraordinary Minds?

Part of a CPA’s job is to help his client by giving an independent, macro look at their business.  A fresh perspective on the business looking for weaknesses or problem areas.

This involves my being knowledgeable in many areas beyond taxes and then steering my client towards assessing those areas themselves and bringing other experts on board as needed.
